AGM AND NOMINATIONS

Hello Skate Family,

We hope you enjoyed the beautiful weekend we just had.  It’s hard to think about skating with all this sunshine, but it is that time of year again to wrap up the skating season with our Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Please join us on Thursday April 29, 2021 @ 6:30pm via Zoom Meeting. (Invite to Follow)

In Advance of the AGM we are requesting nominations (including self-nominations) for the following positions.

  • President (2-year term)
  • Vice President (2-year term)
  • Treasurer (2-year term)
  • Test & CanSkate Coordinator (2-year term)
    • Keeping the CanSkate Program organized, as well as the StarSkate Testing Documents Organized.
  • Bingo Chairperson (2-year term)
    • This position requires approx. 1-2 hours per month of out of arena commitment, however you are not required to attend any of the Bingo’s.
  • Directors (1-year term)
    • This is a great position to see what being on the skating board is all about. The Director positions require attending meetings as well being paired together to take a lead on a fundraiser or event.

Some of our seasoned board members are stepping down this year after their many years of dedication and service to the club. We are looking for new board members to join so we can continue to offer the same great skating programs we have all enjoyed over the years.
