The Glencoe Skating Club
The Glencoe Skating Club is located in the community of Glencoe, Ontario. We are a small club of approximately 125 members, sanctioned by Skate Canada and operating under the banner of Skate Ontario. Our mission is to provide quality skating programs for skaters, aged three and over, to participate in for fun, fitness, interest and / or achievement.
The Glencoe Skating Club offers a variety of Programs, catering to a wide range of ages and skill levels. There are the PreCanSkate, CanSkate and Adult/Teen Programs, for those who are just learning to skate, CanPower Programs, for those wanting to improve their skating skills for Hockey and Ringette, Synronized Skating, for those interested in joining a team and STARSkate, for those who wish to continue on to pursue higher levels of figure skating instruction. All of our programs are instructed by Professional Coaches, who hold certification through Skate Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
The Glencoe Figure Skating Club’s season runs from early October through to the end of March, culminating in the Club’s year-end Carnival.
We welcome new members and guest skaters.
